Beginner Golf Class for Ladies Only!

Our "Beginner" Class is..."a very good place to start."  We utilize "SNAG: Starting New at Golf" equipment and methodologies to minimize the hassels and enable our students to have fun while they learn solid fundamentals. "Learning works better when fun comes first." Students learn proper technique of the four golf swings and proper grip, stance, and posture. All equipment is provided.

Classes are limited to 8 students. Each lesson is approximately 90 minutes and helps beginners or those who haven't swung a club in quite a while to get in the game. We like to think of this as our "Lets Begin" Class.

Carpet Shots: Indoor Golf League 2012

Each Friday night, the league plays 18-hole rounds for 10 weeks beginning on January 6, 2011 and culminating with a 2 week championship. Warm-up begins at 7:30p and everyone tees off promptly by 8:00p. Participants will receive a league shirt. Prizes will be awarded to both first and second place winners (minimum of $300 and $100 respectively) in both gross and net categories. Cost to participate is $350.

Points & Handicapping:

Each week gross and net points will be distributed to each participant based on their resulting positions using the money distribution algorithm from PGA Tour. Points will accumulate through the competition with the top eight (8) advancing into the Championship rounds. Handicapping will use standard USGA handicap algorithms. All players must post three 18-hole handicapping rounds using the Ground Rules below. These rounds are not included in the league fee. Qualifying rounds may be played on any 18-hole course except Red Rock, St Andrews (Old, New, and Jubilee), and Infamous 18. Once league play is underway handicaps will be adjusted each week.

Ground Rules:

• All missed rounds must be made up prior to the following Friday night or points will be forfeited.
• 12 Foot Gimmies, No Mulligans, Intermediate Pin placement, Double Par
• Drops must be taken near the spot where the ball went out without improving the quality of the lie.
• Teeing areas are based on the golfer’s average drive from the prior week as follows:
  • Men: Over 275= Gold; 275-220=Blue; Under 220=White
  • Ladies: Over 200=White; Up to 200= Red
