SNAG is For Beginners & Everyone!!
We have selected SNAG: Starting New at Golf(R) instruction methodology and equipment to provide first touch instruction to beginners. SNAG Classes consist of a mixture of instruction and games using SNAG equipment. SNAGsters will be able to learn the game of golf as well as its values.
 Methodology
Traditional methods of teaching the game have focused on repeating shot after shot to try to develop the proper methodology. SNAG blends special equipment, unique teaching aids, loads of games, and a touch of magic to create a "SNAG-a-Riffic" experience that will enable students to play while learning, practicing, and competing. What a concept!
Equipment
 SNAG equipment consists of hitting a SNAG Ball(TM) with a Launcher(TM) and Roller(TM) toward the Flagsticky(TM). The SNAG Ball is a slightly smaller version of its cousin the tennis ball. Designed for safety, the clubs are weighted to feel just like golf clubs. You use the Launcher club to launch, pitch, and chip the ball. You use the Roller club to roll the ball toward the Flagsticky. In addition, there are numerous training aids like the Snapper and SNAGaZoo that enable students to quickly understand the correct methods for taking each type of golf shot.

Beginner Introduction to Golf - For Ladies Only!!
 Feeling left behind? Join the fun. Golf is enjoyed by millions of women around the world. According to the EWGA (Executive Womens Golf Association), women are increasingly finding participation in the game helps advance their careers, family life, relationships, and confidence.

Golf too hard? We keep it simple. Golf pros will tell you that they spend most of their lesson time undoing improper golf mechanics. Our program was developed by PGA Touring Professionals and has been endorsed by golf professionals around the world, including the Ladies Professional Golf Association and the European Professional Golfers Association.
Golf too expensive? Play anywhere - in your backyard, in the park, or at the beach. With our equipment, the world is your golf course.

Play-a-Round Golf "... a very good place to start."
Summer Camps:
 Incorporating the spacious field next door with our state-of-the-art golf facility, we are able to offer golf camping every day - rain or shine. Each day provides numerous games utilizing the SNAG equipment and training aids that enable campers to learn golf fundamentals while having fun.
Each day uses SNAG equipment, games, unique methodologies, and training aids to teach proper grip (SNAGology refers to this as the "hold"), stance, posture, putting (a.k.a. rolling), chipping, pitching, launching, course management, etiquette, and rules for beginners. Campers will use SNAG equipment to play and learn the game. Campers can attend 3, 4, or 5 days.
At the end of each day, prizes and awards are provided celebrating each camper's achievements for the day. We believe in celebrating each step along the way.

Off-Site Classes
Our instructors and equipment are available for your company outing, elementary school physical education curriculum, senior center social times, and other facility programs. It is fun and a great way to introduce the game. Call us for rates and times.
Classes for Intermediate Golfers - For Ladies
Ladies often prefer the company of other ladies and a woman golf instructor in learning to play.
Ladies Classes: Our women's golf class helps women learn to play, meet new friends, and get ready to play outdoors next summer. Learn the game with other women like yourself. Each attendee is welcomed and encouraged to attend. After a stressful day, come out and have fun as you learn, practice, and play this wonderful game. Come join us for a fun night out while you get ready to play outdoors next summer.
Golf Instructor: Becky Dengler provides classes at Play-a-Round Golf for women during the winter months.
