Biographies

Becky Dengler, LPGA & PGA Certifications
(Winter)

Throughout her career, Rebecca Dengler has been recognized by numerous golfing organizations, publications and her colleagues for her positive, innovative teaching style. Most recently, the LPGA named her one of the country's 50 Top Teachers for 2008-09. More than 1200 teaching professionals around the country voted to compile this list. In 2007-2008, Becky was named the #1 Teacher in the State of Delaware by Golf Digest magazine. She has also been named a top teacher by Golf for Women and Golf Magazine.

Becky's philosophy of golf teaching has been greatly influenced by some of the elite teachers in the game. Becky travelled to Sweden to spend time with golf instructors who influenced Annika Sorenstam and other Swedish players. She has studied the methods of great teachers like Fred Shoemaker, author of Extraordinary Golf. Most recently, Becky has been working with Ed Feeney, an author and behavioral change expert, to further improve her skills and effectiveness as an instructor.

Doug Hendricks
(Winter)

Doug Hendricks, host of Winning Golf a weekly television program, coaches the women's golf team at West Chester University, and provides golf instruction for men, women, and juniors at any level.

Doug has been a member of the PGA since 1987 and has delivered over 17,000 golf lessons. His private or group coaching sessions helps students "Build a Swing for Life."

Winning Golf, a new television program provides viewers with valuable instruction and tours of the golf courses in the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic regions.

During the summer months, Doug provides lessons at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, PA.

Jeff Lockman

(Summer & Winter)

A native of Bryn Mawr, PA, Jeff has been a swing coach for 20 years and has worked with multiple PGA and LPGA Tour players. He has given over 20,000 private lessons around the country, including Boston, Florida, and Arkansas. During the summer months, Jeff also gives lessons at Downingtown Golf Club and Broad Run Golf Club.

Teaching the game at private, public, resort and indoor facilities, Jeff is well-rounded and an exceptional communicator. Jeff teaches both the one and two-plane swings taught by his mentor, Jim Hardy (The Plane Truth). Jeff believes if his students focus on the well-defined parameters of either the one or two plane swings, they will enjoy golf and “feel” the correct swing and body movements.

John Dunigan
(Winter)

John Dunigan, PGA Master Professional is Director of Golf Instruction at White Manor Golf Club in Malvern, PA. In 2008, the Philadelphia PGA Section recognized John as its Teacher of the Year.

John has authored several books on golf including,
- Essential Golf: Everything you need to know. And how to learn it.
- The Secret of the Golf Swing

Most recently John has provided ground-breaking instruction regarding the factors impacting the flight of the golf ball in his seminar Know Golf.

Steve Graves, Sr.
(Summer & Winter)

Steve is a trained and certified instructor of the SNAG: Starting New at Golf (R) instruction methodology and equipment as part of the first instruction training class in January 2011. In addition, Steve has been playing golf for over 30 years.

Bob Howie
(Winter)
A native of West Grove, PA, Bob is an assistant instructor at White Manor Golf Club as well as a certified PGA-teaching professional.
