Classes or Lessons?

Each year the number of adult golf classes (multiple sessions taught in a serial fashion to a group of students) is measured in thousands, while adult golf lessons taught are measured in the millions. Why? What is it about the game that suggests we should learn basic skills one-to-one and not in a group?  Adult golf classes or lessons? Individual or group? Where do we start? Hibernate or Play Through?

It's no surprise that colder days are ahead. Happens every year. Fall and Winter mornings begin to dip into the forties, then thirties, and twenties making outdoor golf a bit uncomfortable. "And, if you play golf, you're my friend."  ~ Harvey Penick Future USGA Members? Sometime over this "off season" we expect you will send a solicitation for us to ... Read more...

Routine Golf is Great Golf!

I know some of you might be saying there's nothing routine about your game. If I may, I'd like to share how my game took a step toward getting better. "If you have something important to do, make sure you get your golf out of the way first." I don't know how it is for you, but for me, if I don't put it on the calendar it doesn't get done. Consider maintenance on our AC at home. We had a problem recently and I contacted an AC company and learned that it had been over three years ... Read more...
