Get Your Priorities Right!

Getting your priorities right is important to proper sequencing of your body during the down swing. HipsShouldersHandsClub Recently, I learned that my body reacts differently when I think about "hitting the ball" using my trailing (right) pocket versus when I think about "hitting the ball" using my leading (left) pocket. Brian, our golf pro in Ardmore, tells me that most golfers would hit the ball better if they kept this thought in mind. It seems that proper sequencing is critical ... Read more...

Two Steps Forward...

Good news. I shot a 45 for nine holes on Monday. That's almost half-way to my goal. I say almost because my goal is to break 90. Sorry for the blurry picture. Sometimes we need a vacation from our pursuit to #Break90. Mini-golf, bowling, and tennis are just a few of the sports that many of us have played without lessons. How do you hold a tennis racquet? What's a good way to aim the bowling ball to get a strike? Even mini-golf has a best way to swing the putter. But, where do you go to learn? I took bowling in college phys ed. I remember a few things about aligning the arrows on the bowling lane with the dots where you stand, but I don't ... Read more...
